Medziphema, February 18 (MExN): The Ten Villages Council Union (TVCU) has welcomed the “commitment of the Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio to repair the stretch of road from Medziphema town to New Maova.”
The union in a press release appealed to the villages namely Medziphema, Sirhima, Medziphema-A, New Socunoma, Khaibung, Zhuikhu, Hekheshe, Tsuuma and New Maova, “to take this opportunity and upgrade the existing road to an intermediate two-lane road.”
It also appealed to all the individuals, group and owners along the stretch, to generously donate their land on both sides, so as to widen the road to 15 meters in width without tendering any objection or obstruction in the process of the road construction, “solely in the interest of the public in general and particularly future generation of the area in concern.”
