Two persons from Nagaland were killed in a tragic road mishap in Assam on November 29. According to sources, the accident occurred along Hollowkhowa road under Barpathar Police Station; Karbi-Anglong after the vehicle (Alto car bearing regd no- NL-05-C-1698) they were travelling collided with a truck (bearing regd no NL-01-AE-4373).
The deceased were identified as one Rev Elis Lotha, pastor, Doyang United Baptist Church and Myinthungben. Another passenger identified as Oponlumi Kikon is also reported to be seriously injured.
The sources further informed that the injured was referred to Dimapur from Bokajan CHC.
The accident reportedly took place in the “evening hour” while they were returning back to Doyang from Sikkim after attending an excursion.
