Dimapur, July 27 (MExN): The troops of 24 Assam Rifles while conducting routine MVCP at New Showuba area on July 27 apprehended two cadres of NSCN (K) Kehoi Camp.
The accused were identified as ‘ss under secretary’ Sato Aye (25 years) S/o Tokiho Aye of Hoito village, Kuhuboto and ‘ss pvt’ Khekato Jimo (19 years) S/o Shatovi Jimo of Kiyazu B village under Niuland. One AK 56 rifle with two magazine and 60 rounds of ammunitions were recovered and seized from their possession. The arrested were produced at the East Police Station and a case has was registered against them, informed the Additional Superintendent of Police, Dimapur in a press note.
In the same note, the Additional Superintendent of Police stated that the Dimapur Police recovered one autorickshaw on July 26 bearing R/No NL07F-4663, E/No 24MBTJ24048 and C/No MD2AA24ZZWK11272 which was found abandoned in the town for the past three days. The owner of the vehicle can claim the autorickshaw with relevant documents (original) from the office of the SDPO (Niuland) on any working day.
