
Dimapur, September 10 (MExN): Two unidentified dead bodies were recovered in Dimapur during the last two days, informed an official release.
The first body was recovered on September 6 at Railway station gate, Dimapur below the Fly Over Bridge.
The cause of dead is suspected to be starvation and dehydration, informed the release from the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) & PRO, Dimapur Police.
The deceased, age around 55-60 yrs (approx), was found “shirtless with blanket and brown in complexion.”
Meanwhile, the second body was found lying dead at Supermarket Marketing Shed, Nagarjan Junction on September 7. The deceased is suspected to be a beggar and died due to starvation and dehydration, the release said. Age around 40-50 yrs (approx), the deceased was shirtless with blanket and brown in complexion.
Both were described as ‘non-local male’ by the police. On completion of all legal formalities the dead bodies were shifted to Dimapur District Hospital Morgue for PM examination/identification, it said.
