The 10th Annual Sports Meet 2022 of Urra Area Villages Youth Organization (UAVYO) concluded on October 15 at Razhaphe Basa village in Chümoukedima district.
MLA Azheto Zhimomi graced the closing ceremony as the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, he stated that through sports, unity should be built amongst the villages.
He urged upon Urra area villages union to stay united and march forward.
Urra village emerged as the football champion while Toulazouma was the runner-up.
In volleyball, Razhaphe Basa bagged the champion title in both men and women category with Sangtamtilla and Diezephe as the runners up.
The closing ceremony was chaired by UAVYO treasurer Visü Sakhrie while Vekuyi Sazo proposed the vote of thanks.
