DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 2 (MExN): The Governor of Nagaland has appointed Justice Uma Nath Singh, former Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court, as the Lokayukta of Nagaland with effect from the date of taking oath of office. Singh will hold office for a term of 5 (five) years from which he enters upon his office or till he attains the age of 70 years whichever is earlier, a DIPR release informed. The other terms of office and conditions of service shall be as stipulated in Section 7 (1) to (4) of the Nagaland Lokayukta Act 2017 (Act 1 of 2018).
