Dimapur, December 27 (MExN): The Dimapur Police on Wednesday informed that during Christmas Eve at around 1056 hrs, telephonic information was received at East PS from Shompha Konyak, stating that one male dead body age around 30 yrs. (approx.) was reportedly found at an old under constructed building opposite to A-one Motor workshop, Khermahal, Dimapur.
Dy Commissioner of Police (Crime) & PRO, Dimapur in a press release stated that accordingly, East PS duty party rushed to the PO site and ascertained the dead body. Inquest was conducted over the dead body but no foul play could be ascertained.
On completion of all legal formalities, the dead body was shifted to District Hospital morgue for post-mortem examination/identification, it added. Claimant, relatives and friends of the deceased have been requested to contact the Officer-in-Charge, East Police Station, Dimapur @7085055020.
