DIMAPUR, AUGUST 16 (MExN): In line with the vision of Government of India’s flagship programme of Viksit Bharat 2047, UNISED in collaboration with Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) organised a day-long capacity building workshop for teachers of 10 government schools on Atal Tinkering Mission at Government High School, Darogapathar, Dimapur on August 9.

A press release stated that the exhaustive as well as engaging day-long session was organised to generate curiosity, critical thinking among the energetic and committed teachers using the skills of the modern era.

As part of a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) endeavour, ONGC is sponsoring a total of 10 modern and state of the art Atal Tinkering Labs in Dimapur district with Unit of Science & Education Development (UNISED) as the implementing agency.

The innovative as well as scientifically executed training was conducted under the instrumental guidance of Avaneesh Tripathi, Senior Policy Advisor of National Innovation Policy & Chief Mentor, UNISED. 

On the occasion, Headmistress of GHS Darogapathar, Thechano Patton encouraged students to be innovative and think practically for the challenges of tomorrow.

The workshop laid a strong emphasis on building a rational as well as scientific temperament for ushering path breaking innovations for tomorrow, the press release said. 

The engagement with the beneficiaries also laid importance of the goals enshrined in New Educational Policy as well as the several initiatives in the domain of education including NIPUN Bharat, Padhega Bharat, Badhega Bharat as well as United Nation endorsed Sustainable Development Goals 2030, it added.
