Unity College observed ‘World Day of the fight against sexual exploitation’ by visiting Prodigal Home (Swadhar Greh and Child Care Institute) Fellowship Colony, Dimapur.

Dimapur, March 8 (MExN): Women Development Cell, Unity College observed ‘World Day of the fight against sexual exploitation’ by visiting Prodigal Home (Swadhar Greh and Child Care Institute) Fellowship Colony, Dimapur.
The visit was accompanied by members of the Women Development Cell along with 30 students both from UG and PG, a press release stated here.
Phengna Konyak, Coordinator of the Centre gave a briefing on the working of the Prodigal Home and how they carry out their social work and projects and other outreach programs.
The programme consisted of the students interacting and conducting fun-filled activities for children. Four groups consisting of four students each were engaged for case study, where they were allowed to interact with the inmates keeping their identity confidential.
The Women Development Cell contributed rice and provided working lunch for everyone present there.
