Dimapur, February 2 (MExN): Unity College of Teacher Education, Dimapur conducted its sports meet from January 28-31.
During the inaugural function, Administrator, UCTE emphasized that sports week is not only an important part of the curriculum but also as an opportunity to acquaint with new friends.
A press release here stated that the indoor games were played on the first day, and the outdoor games on the remaining days.
The entire week was initiated by the sports committee in collaboration with the four house captains and the class representatives.
Yellow house emerged as the overall champion, Red house followed up by Green house as the runners up respectively.
The meet culminated with an exhibition match of tug-of-war between 2nd semester and 4th Semester students and a mega balloon bursting for the women.
