Kohima, November 18 (MExN): The All Nagaland Hindi Teachers Union (ANHTU) today urged the concerned department and the State Government to release the salary of 1379 Hindi teachers pending since July. Bring a quick and favourable solution to the suffering of those discriminated teachers, a press note from ANTHU President Rometo Sema and General Secretary AS Yarthotngam appealed, adding that, some teacher have not been paid for the month of May and June 2017 as well. Since most of the teachers depend on their salaries for maintaining and functioning of their households, it has become a major problem, the Union further said. Moreover, with the approaching of festive season, most of the teachers will need their salaries to meet their monetary demands, it noted. In this connection, ANHTU urged the concerned authority to bring a quick and favourable solution to their suffering.
