UNTABA meeting: Members asked to attend positively

Dimapur, October 18 (MExN): The United Naga Tribes Association on Border Areas (UNTABA) will conduct a general meeting on October 20, 2:00 pm at Tourist Lodge conference hall, Dimapur to “discuss all the pending issues as desired by the Naga people on the boundary issue.”  

Following have been asked to attend the meeting positively: Members of the Advisory Board, the Executive Committee Members representing Konyak Union, Phom People’s Council, Ao Senden from Langpangkong, Japukong and Tsurangkong Ranges, Lotha Hoho from Bhandari, Lower Lotha Range Public Organisation and Ralan areas, the Executive Committee Members from Northern Sumi area, Rengma Hoho and Rengma Naga People’s Council, the Executive Committee Members representing Western Sumi Hoho and Western Sumi Kukami Hoho from Niuland, Aghunaqa, Khaghaboto, Kuhuboto, Ato Area, Aqahuto and Dimapur, the Executive Committee Members from Chakro Public Organization and GBs, the Executive Members from ZPO, the Executive Members from Zeme Council, the Executive Committee Members from Kuki tribe, the members from Dimapur District GBs Association, and the members of the Action Committee.  

The UNTABA chairman, Hukavi T. Yeputhomi in a press release also requested all the public leaders and GBs of Phomching, Tapi, Tizit, Wakching, Tamlu, Tuli, Alongtaki, Bhandari, Sanis, Tseminyu, Dimapur I, II, III, Ghaspani I, II, Peren and Tening Assembly segments to attend the scheduled meeting positively.  

Meanwhile, the release appealed to all the members concerned to bring their views and opinions in written as per the agenda served to them.  

The agenda of the meeting, as per the press release, are: Detail report on the issue so far; reiterating the demand for boundary settlement along with political settlement; the questionable points on joint boundary commission; the emergent need of litigation process on the issue.
