Dimapur, March 31 (MExN): A total of 357 patients availed free health services and free medicines in two medical camps conducted by the Urban Primary Health Centre Burma Camp, Dimapur at Railway Bazaar Grace Colony area and United North Block (UNB) 'A', Burma Camp during the month of March.
According to a press note, the medical camps, conducted as a part of National Urban Health Mission (NUHM), was an initiative headed by the MO i/c UPHC, Burma Camp with active support and participation from Urban Consultant, GNMs and ANMs of UPHC, Burma Camp and UPHC, Duncan Bosti and Urban ASHA.
During the camps, counseling on health information, proper nutrition, timely ANC checkup etc were also provided by the nurses.
NUHM has a coverage of 23 Wards in Urban Dimapur and conducts 2 (two) free health camps monthly under its jurisdiction.
