Intending candidates of 52 Longkhim-Chare Assembly Constituency with USBLA leaders and others during the prayer programme on February 15.

Yangli, February 17 (MExN): A special prayer programme for the intending candidates of 52 Longkhim-Chare Assembly Constituency for the February 27 general election was organised by United Sangtam Churches Association at Mission Centre, Yangli on February 15.
According to a press release received on Friday, Youth Secretary of USBLA, Tsilise highlighted that the intention behind organising the programme was to invoke God’s blessings for the candidates and help them remain purposefully faithful in the clean election movement.
United Sangtam Likhum Pümji president, Aliba Sangtam delivered a sport speech and advised the candidates, chief agents, party workers and voters to be more cautious so as to avoid possible problems and dangers during the election.
The three candidates— Muthingnyuba Sangtam, Sethri Sangtam, and H Sethrongkyu Sangtam were also given time to share their mission and visions for the constituency, the release stated.
Dedicatory prayer and word of God was ministered by Executive Secretary, USBLA Rev Y Imtiba. The church is the moral institution and we stand firmly rooted in the clean election movement initiated by Nagaland Baptist Church Council, Rev Imitiba said, while ministering the word of God. He thanked all the three candidates for manifesting the virtue of obedience and coming to attend the programme.
Meanwhile, the USBLA thanked all who made the programme a success and further urged all the voters to remain steadfast in the clean election movement.
