Kohima, April 26 (MExN): The Nagaland Chief Secretary, Dr J Alam, in a circular, has urged all concerned to prefix the honorific ‘Dr’ to Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio’s name in all official communications, references, and addresses pertaining to him.
The circular noted that Dr Rio was conferred the Doctor of Letters (Honoris Causa) by the North East Christian University on February 25, 2025.
“The honorary degree has been awarded in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Human Resource Development,” underscored the April 25 circular, thus urging the use of the prefix ‘Dr’ in his name in all future official communications.
