USSC to take action against irregular teachers

Kiphire, November 3 (MExN): In its continued effort to keep a check on the quality of education in the district, the United Sangtam Students' Conference (USSC) paid surprise visit to government schools in Kiphire town on November 3.

During the visit, the USSC lamented that four teachers were found absent at GMS PHED, Kiphire town and therefore, cautioned that further course of action shall be initiated against the irregular teachers. 

The conference said that it was pleased by the efforts of teachers at GMS Longya ward, Kiphire town for producing the ‘best result’ in board exams. It was also satisfied with efforts of the teachers for organizing different activities in the school, despite being located in a place without proper footsteps and other basic facilities.

The USSC said that surprise checking in schools would be initiated in the district anytime. Further, the conference directed the teachers to be regular in their duties and warned that action shall be taken against the irregular teachers.
