Tuensang, November 6 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner (DC) Tuensang, L Jamithung Lotha officially launched the Vahan 4.0 Services for Tuensang District at an event held at the Office of the District Transport Officer, Tuensang on November 5. According to a DIPR report, while launching 'Vahan 4.0' Deputy Commissioner, said that this service will save applicants from long hours of waiting and numerous visits for the registering and licensing Office as one can now apply online. Expressing gratitude he thanked the NIC Transport division Kohima for their tireless efforts. He further appealed to the concerned officers to make the general public aware of the service, to improve the application through workshops, seminars and even involving stakeholders and government providing its essential resources. During the introduction of the Vahan 4.0, Sr Programmer, NIC, Transport division from Kohima, Imna Longkumer highlighted on the objectives of the Vahan 4.0. Earlier in the programme, the welcome address was delivered by Sr. HA, DTO office, Tuensang M. Akhumba Chang and the programme was led by Manhei, LDA. The meeting ended with vote of thanks by Motor Vehicle Officer, Tuensang.
