This concert will truly be a celebration of harmony, bringing not only upcoming Ao musicians but veterans like musical duo Sashi and Asen, Anungba Sanglir, Tsuza Imchen back on one stage together. Not only this, but folks will get to witness musical generations together as Waluniba, son of Sashi and Asen will be performing at this concert. Other artists like Mangyang Kichu, Wonder Waves, Tiameren, Wapong Ozukum, Toshimeren, Moajungla, Marjo. A.Kichu, and Dreamz Unlimited will be performing. During a press conference held today, the organizers of Dimapur Ao Lanur Telongjem informed that the concert will benefit the “Senden Riju Building Construction”, it is slated to be a celebration of Ao Harmony. The Senden Riju Building Construction, an ongoing project near ISBT, Purana Bazaar, Dimapur is supposed to be the biggest Ao ‘Morung’ in Dimapur. Entrusted with the task of overseeing the construction of this Morung, the members of Dimapur Ao Lanur Telongjem stated that it had previously initiated a raffle draw in aid of this fund. Once completed, the Morung can be used for multipurpose activity including wedding, seminar, public meeting and other events. Tickets are priced at Rupees 2000 with entry for four, Rupees 500 with entry for two, and for students it will be rupees 200 per person. Refreshments will be served to all. This concert is truly aiming to be a celebration of harmony, bringing not only veteran singers and young best artists together on stage but uniting Ao community and Nagas in general.Morung Express News
