The veneration of the Regional Youth Convention (RYC) Cross concluded at Mary Help of Christians Cathedral, Kohima on May 4.

KOHIMA, MAY 4 (MExN): The veneration of the Regional Youth Convention (RYC) Cross concluded at Mary Help of Christians Cathedral, Kohima on May 4, marking the culmination of an extraordinary spiritual journey undertaken by the Indian Catholic Youth Movement North East (ICYM-NE).
The RYC Cross was solemnly received and venerated by youth from 14 dioceses across Northeast India as part of a prayerful pilgrimage ahead of the 5th Regional Youth Convention, scheduled to be held from June 27 to 30. The upcoming convention will be hosted in Kohima under the theme, “Pilgrims of Hope.”
The ceremony in Kohima began with a procession and adoration, followed by the reception of the Cross by the Nagaland Catholic Youth Movement (NCYM). Rev Fr John Barman, Regional Youth Director, presided over the solemn celebration, while Rev Fr Kokto Kurian, Director, NCYM, was the concelebrant.
The event concluded with the veneration of the Cross and witnessed the participation of the ICYM NE team along with around 300 youth from Kohima and nearby areas.
