VHND cum health camp at Phanjang village conducted

Dimapur, March 1 (MExN): Village Health & Nutrition Day cum mini health camp was conducted at Phanjang village, Peren district on February 27. A team lead by Dr. Tiala Longkumer Dy. CMO Peren, accompanied by Dr. Khrielasanuo DPO (RCH & Immunization), Dr. Yartenla DTO, Dr. Limatula Ao DPO (NVBDCP), RNTCP and NVBDCP team conducted the VHND cum health camp. 

A press note received here stated that the visiting team sensitized the villagers by delivering health talks on immunization, Child health, RNTCP, malaria and the various facilities provided by National Rural Health Mission and also interacted with the Village Health Committee members and the Village Council leaders. The team examined 90 patients and distributed free medicines, 7 malaria tests was done, 3 sputum collected and 4 children were immunized.
