Shillong, November 3 (MExN): North Eastern Council (NEC) observed Vigilance Awareness Week-2018 at NEC, Shillong with special focus on the theme ‘Eradicate Corruption – Build a New India’. Pledge undertaking, essay writing, cartoon making and poster competition were highlights of the programme. Awareness Week concluded with a valedictory function with the talk from the dignitaries and the felicitation program of all the winners of various events at NEC. Speaking on the occasion, Prof BK Dutta, Member, NEC congratulated NEC staff for their active participation and commended the effort of the kids of the staff members who participated in the various competitions. Among others CH Kharshiing, Planning Adviser, NEC, W Synrem, Economic Adviser (E&M), NEC, Navin Kumar, Adviser (T&C), and the employees were present.
