Kohima, December 7 (MExN): The Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has been officially launched in Kiphire, Mon, and Zunheboto.
According to the State DIPR, it was launched in Kiphire village on December 7, where the Block Nodal officer Kiphire, T Sulanthung SDO (C), Kiphire, said that the main purpose of the program is to raise awareness through outreach activities to achieve the saturation of the schemes.
He also informed that this campaign will cover all the villages under Kiphire district and urged all the public to avail the schemes.
The SDO further encouraged participation from those who are yet to benefitted from various schemes.
In Mon village, it was launched on December 6 with Deputy Commissioner Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma, as the Special Guest.
Addressing the gathering, he shared the intent of the Government of India to bring flagship schemes to the doorstep of the beneficiaries and urged the public to avail the opportunities from the services offered by the various line departments present at the campaign.
The services available on the spot include a free medical camp by the Medical Department, registration of CMHIS Ayushmann Bharat, PM Ujjwala registration, KCC PM Kisan from SBI, and Aadhaar enrollment.
Meanwhile, in Zunheboto, the IEC van was flagged from the DC office by Deputy Commissioner Rahul Bhanudas Mali on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, he assured that remote areas will be well-informed about the available schemes due to the launch.
The three villages, namely Sukhalu, Natha old, and Natha new, were covered on the first day, the DIPR added.
