District Administration, Mokokchung organised the Viksit Bharati Sankalp Yatra campaign at Mokokchung Municipal Council, Shopping Complex on Friday with the objective to raise awareness through outreach activities to achieve saturation of schemes.
The special guest at event was Tsüvisie Phoji, Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung. The programme was chaired by EAC Vitolu and Thsüvisie Phoji, Deputy Commissioner made an appearance as the special guest. "Everyone is positioned and capacitated differently but everyone can pledge to be responsible citizens," Phoji stated while encouraging each citizen to reaffirm one's duty, contribution and responsibilities towards the nation.
A recorded message of the Prime Minister of India was telecast along with the screening of opening movie and PM SVANidhi IEC Video. Sankalp (pledge) video for Vikas Bharat was also telecast as a part of the campaign.
Beneficiaries of PM SVANidhi, PMAY (U) and AYUSHMAN also gave testimonies in the event.
The programme was followed by on spot registration and services for registration of Ayushman Bharat, Biometric Authentication, PM SWANidhi Registration and Ujjwala Yojana (Gas agency).
Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is engaged in the mission of saturation through its flagship schemes for providing basic amenities like sanitation facilities, essential financial services, access to LPG connections etc. The Yatra was launched on November 15, 2023 on the occasion of Janjatiya Gaurav Divas.
At Mangkolemba sub-division, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was observed on December 14 at Customary Court Mangkolemba with Additional Deputy Commissioner Lankonsen Tsanglao as the special guest.
The ADC, in his speech, enlightened the gathering that Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is a nation-wide effort aimed at achieving saturation of the government's key initiatives, ensuring that the benefits of various schemes reach all eligible beneficiaries. He also urged the gathering to disseminate information and create awareness to those who are eligible but have not availed benefit so far. He also assured to provide guidance to those eligible beneficiaries, a DIPR report stated.
Presentation on Meri Kahani Meri Zubani, PM SVANidhi, PMAY and Ayushman were delivered by Bank Manager SBI Mangkolemba; Chairman, All Wards Chairman, Lanuyanger and Rongsennukshi of ADC office respectively. Screening of recorded message of the Prime Minister and PM SVANidhi and on- spot registration & services like registration of Ayushman Bharat, Biometric authentication and Aadhaar updation were the other highlights of the day's programme. The programme was chaired by SDO (C) Mangkolemba, Hotolu Sema.
