Vikuonuo Sachü crowned Miss Nagaland 2019

Vikuonuo Sachü crowned the coveted title of Miss Nagaland 2019 at the impressive Miss Nagaland Beauty Pageant 2019 held at RCEMPA Jotsoma this evening.

Sachü, who is also 2nd runner up of Miss Kohima 2019, pocketed a cash prize of Rs. 1.50 lakh.

She is a class 12 student of Model Higher Secondary School, Kohima.

Imnasangla Ao, a BA 6th semester of St. Joseph’s Autonomous College, Jakhama, bagged 1st runner up title and pocketed Rs. 1 lakh.

Viphrotsüno Kehie, MA 3rd Semester Nagaland University stood 2nd runner-up and received Rs. 70,000.

All the sub-title winners received Rs. 10,000 each along with gift hampers.

The event was organized by Beauty and Aesthetic Society of Nagaland.

Sunaina Kamath- Fbb colors Femina Miss India Assam 2018 was the special guest judge. Yanvuo Kikon, Akumnaro, Neingulie Nakhro and Bambi Kevichusa were other judges.

13 contestants vied for the coveted title.

Chow Poran J. Gogoi was the official choreographer while official designer was Mansha Aomeshu. Mengu Suokhrie was the host.

The 13 semi-finalists competed in 3 different rounds namely ethnic round, designer wear round and evening gown round.

The event is powered by Department of Tourism, Government of Nagaland with RCEMPA as the venue partner and 4Life as co-sponsor.
