WOKHA, JANUARY 20 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Wokha has issued a circular directing all Village Council Chairpersons (VCCs) in the district to attend onboarding sessions for the PM Vishwakarma (PMVK) Scheme. The onboarding is necessary to complete Level-1 verification of beneficiaries through the PMVK portal.
The sessions will be held on January 21 and 22 at various venues across the district, with the schedule divided by blocks. VCCs from Chukitong, Wokha, and Wozhuro blocks are to report on January 21 at 9:00 AM to designated venues, while those from Sanis, Bhandari, Changpang, and Ralan blocks are scheduled for January 22 at the same time.
The venues for the onboarding include the Deputy Commissioner's Conference Hall in Wokha and Block Development Offices in Sanis, Bhandari, Changpang, and Ralan.
As part of the verification process, VCCs are required to bring their Aadhaar cards along with Aadhaar-linked mobile phones. The circular also emphasizes the role of Block Development Officers (BDOs) in ensuring the participation of VCCs and providing logistical support. Additionally, Common Service Centers (CSCs) and Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) have been instructed to submit a detailed report on the onboarding process after the sessions.
This initiative aims to streamline the implementation of the PMVK Scheme in Wokha district, ensuring efficient beneficiary verification and onboarding.
