Dimapur, August 29 (MExN): The New Sangsonmong village of Longkhim sub-division and Litsami village of Surhoto sub-division had a joint meeting of ‘traditional friendship’ at New Sangsomong village.
The meeting deliberated the old value of friendship between two villages from the several decades of sharing love, feeling of oneness among the two villages. Litsami Village Council was led by Suhoto Hd. GB, Kehoi GB and New Sangsomong Village Council led by Sepikyu Sangtam Hd GB and Chotsazi GB.
The Council Chairman of New Sangsomong, Hongchosingh Sangtam in a press release on behalf of the two villages appealed to their entire citizens who are living in the town to uphold the old friendship between the two villages in their respective places.
