Zunheboto, November 26 (MExN): The BJP Zunheboto has removed Vikaho Zhimo from the post of district vice president “for violation of the party constitution and committing anti-party activities”.
This was informed in a press release from the party’s district President Shikuto Sema. The release accused Zhimo for creating a leadership crisis in the district but added that the issue has now been resolved with 5 out of 6 Mandal Presidents and four Morcha leaders backing the leadership of the present district president.
Meanwhile, the BJP Zunheboto held a joint meeting of district office bearers, mandal presidents and morcha leaders with Hurui Zeliang, Zunheboto district in-charge, and Er. Sengkathung, State vice president, at the party office on November 15.
The district in-charge spoke on various party issues and encouraged the party workers to patch up past differences and work hard to face the 2018 state election, the release stated.
