W Honje Konyak appointed as NPSC Chairperson

Kohima, April 2 (MExN): The Government of Nagaland has appointed retired Nagaland Civil Service officer W Honje Konyak as the Chairperson of the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC). 

The post had remained vacant following the retirement of the previous Chairperson TS Angami in November 2021. 

According to a notification issued by the state Chief Secretary on April 2, Konyak, who retired as Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, assumes charge for a period of six years or until he attains the age of 62 years, whichever is earlier. 

The salary of W Honje Konyak, as Chairperson of the Commission will be in accordance with Regulation 4 of the Nagaland Public Service Commission (Chairmen, Members & Staff) Regulations, 2008, plus all other allowances as admissible from time to time, the notification stated.
