Kohima, November 29 (MExN): To commemorate the upcoming World AIDS Day on December 1, 2017, Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS) will be organizing a Walkathon under the theme ‘Right to Health: My Health, My Right’. A press release issued by Dr. Ngangshimeren, Project Director, NSACS stated that the state-level event will be flagged off by R. Ramakrishnan, IAS, Commissioner & Secretary, (H&FW) at 6:00 am from Old MLA Hostel Junction, and culminate at High School Junction, Peraciezie, Kohima. In this regard, NSACS invites all NGO partners, stakeholders and concerned citizens to join hands and participate in the ‘Walkathon’, to raise awareness about the issue HIV & AIDS in the state and as a gesture of showing solidarity, care and support to People Living with HIV.
