Mokokchung, May 4 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung office has notified that the following Ward authorities will monitor and sensitize public on social distancing during market opening days in Mokokchung Town:
The DC Mokokchung Limawabang Jamir also stated that the following guidelines shall be strictly enforced in public places: compulsory wearing of face cover/face masks in all public places and work places; proper social distancing to be maintained in all public places and shops; spitting in public spaces shall be punishable with fine; Consumption of paan, gutkha, tobacco etc in public places is banned.
“Any person/group acting in violation of this order shall be deemed to have committed offence punishable under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code,” the DC Mokokchung stated.
