KOHIMA, OCTOBER 9 (MExN): The Watsu Mundang Kohima Unit expresses disappointment on the declaration of Ahza on Dr. S.C Jamir, Governor of Goa and Alemtemshi Jamir, Principal Secretary and impresses upon the NSCN (IM) to revoke the decree at the earliest.
The release issued by Temsuinla and Temjenla, president and general secretary of Watsu Mundang Kohima, stated that both these individuals have been selflessly working for the welfare of our people and their contributions could not be measured. “In their own capacities, they have worked for the uplift of our land, which needs acknowledgement and high appreciation”, it added.
While also condemning the declaration against Minister Imkong L. Imchen by the NSCN (K) the Mungdang earnestly appeal the faction to show restraint in the true Christian spirit and take more constructive steps for the Naga society as a whole and appealed to the factions to revoke the decree.
“Any political institution needs the support and goodwill of its people and therefore we urge both NSCN factions exercise tolerance”, the women organization stated.
