Mokokchung, November 11 (MExN): The Watsü Mungdang, Mokokchung organized a mass sensitization programme of Angawaadi workers as directed by the Directorate of Social Welfare in the months of October and November and culminated on November 9.
The Watsü Mungdang members were divided into three groups and the sensitisation programme was carried out in all Ranges and Block divisions of Mokokchung district. The last sensitisation programme was with the Angawadi workers of Langpangkong range.
During the sensitisation programme, the Watsü Mungdang encouraged the Angawadi workers to work for the betterment of the women and child populace in the village and also to diligently do their duties.
The Mundang also distributed questionnaires thorough which various issues were raised and discussed.
