Dimapur, October 8 (MExN): The Western Chakhesang Hoho and Western Chakhesang Youth Organisation has resolved to ask the “responsible NSCN (K) to terminate the service of its Finance Secy Khumtsa Naga and Akaho Jimo within 7 days” failing which the community “shall cease its cooperation to the NSCN (K).”
The decision was taken at an emergency meeting of the two organisations on October 7 held in connection with “the assassination attempt was made upon its prominent member L Duolo, Proprietor Kuda Cold Storage on September 18,” said a joint statement issued by WCH President Vekhosayi Nyekha and WCYH President Likalo Letro.
The action was allegedly “carried out by NSCN (K) functionary after the demand slip was passed to its fatherly figure and local business member.”
The House also outrightly condemned the press statement by “Khumtsa Naga Finance Secy. NSCN (K), who is also called as Inovi and Max earlier” it said.
“The press statement clarifying the life attempt is a blatant lie; the Chakhesang community will never accept nor allow any of its member's life to be threatened but questions its evil motive upon its community and business fraternity,” it added.
The two organisations also expressed dissatisfaction with the District Administration and law enforcing agencies for failing to "arrest the law breaker till date even after a lapse of 20 days".
