Dimapur, September 8 (MExN): The Western Chakhesang Mother's Association (WCMA) has condemned the “shameful act of Kuripra Veswuh (76-years-old) for raping a five-year-old minor child in Phek district on July 28, 2021. The accused deserved no place in a civilized Naga Society for his ghastly act and should not be granted bail under any circumstances, a press release from WCMA President, Nezolü S Rhakho and Geenral Secretary, Kevezolu Tetseo. The WCMA also lauded the investigation team and Mezivolu T Therieh, District & Session’s Judge, District Court Phek, for the swift action in bringing justice to the minor and it's family. The association further expressed hope that “such sincere and dedicated officials can change the society.”
