DIMAPUR, MAY 8 (MExN): The Wangkhao Government College Teachers Association has resolved to not pay taxes to any “underground factions from this year onwards.” A press note by the President and the General Secretary of the WCTA stated that the decision has been made in line with the resolution that was taken by the apex bodies of the NSF and the ENSF. It added that the teachers have come out with this resolution as a measure to ensure the sanctity of the environment of educational institutions. The association has appealed to all factions to use their wisdom and rationality. It added that everybody is a stake holder of education without exception. It added, “Every individual and household has his share of responsibility in nurturing the stress-free atmosphere while making noble investment in human resource development.” It further added, “It is high time we realize that what have been in the past practice was out of ignorance. Now let us rise up to the reality and the rationality.”
