We will win, if we walk together

A call for unity in building a New Political Movement

A Shyerhunlo Lorin
Secretary General, New Political Movement

Every once in a while, a moment comes when people begin to reflect deeply on where their society is heading. When promises are repeatedly broken, when voices are ignored, and when trust in leadership starts to fade, that moment becomes a turning point. Today, we are standing at such a moment.

The idea of forming a new political party is not just about politics. It is about hope. It is about accountability. Most importantly, it is about building a shared vision for a better future one where power truly belongs to the people. But there is one simple truth we must remember: we can only succeed if we walk together.

No great movement in history has ever succeeded alone. Real change has always come from people coming together ordinary individuals who chose unity over division, courage over silence, and action over inaction. One voice may be ignored, but when thousands speak as one, they become impossible to silence.

If we are serious about building a new political movement, it must begin with the people. Not with leaders or slogans, but with citizens. Farmers, youth, women, workers, entrepreneurs, students, everyone must feel that this movement belongs to them. It must represent their struggles, their hopes, and their dreams.

This is not about replacing one group with another. It is about changing the very meaning of leadership. Leadership should not be about power or privilege. It should be about service, responsibility, and commitment to the people. A new party must stand on strong values, transparency, honesty, and governance that truly puts people first.

But ideas alone are not enough. For this movement to succeed, it needs participation.

We call on every citizen who believes in justice, fairness, and progress to step forward and be part of this journey. Your voice matters. Your role matters. Whether you speak out, organize, support, or simply stand in solidarity you are contributing to change.

Let us rise above divisions of tribe, community, religion, or background. Division only weakens us, but unity gives us strength. When we walk together, we build trust. When we stand together, we become stronger. And when we fight together, we win.

This is not just about forming a political party. It is about starting a people’s movement.

The path ahead will not be easy. There will be challenges, resistance, and moments of doubt. But history has always shown that when people come together with a shared purpose, nothing can stop them.

So let us take that step today.

Let us rise together, build together, and move forward together.

Because in the end, we will win only if we walk together.
