George Clooney's girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis has revealed she has no desire to have children. The 32-year-old model and television presenter, who has been dating the actor since 2009, says she is content with her life just how it is.
'[Getting pregnant has] never been an objective for me,' she told Italy's Cosmopolitan magazine. 'My maternal desires are fully satisfied with my dogs.' It is a feeling shared by Clooney, 49, who has previously said he has no plans to marry again or start a family.
But Elisabetta, who dazzled at the Sanremo Music Festival in Italy yesterday, says she is happier than ever. 'I love it to bits,' she says of their relationship. 'I am happy to participate at events as the "girlfriend of."' When not spending time at George's Lake Como villa, the pair are happy cruising motorcycles down the southern California coastline. 'We love the coast, the Pacific Highway, with its rocks, the surfers and the ocean,' she says.
She also highlighted the main difference she has experienced between Italian and American men.
'Italian men find it really hard to say, I love you,' she told the magazine. 'In summary, American men are more open from an emotional standpoint.'
