Dimapur, November 27 (MExN): A common Women Society Weaving Hall for women of Rüzaphema Block-III was inaugurated today by Zhaleo Rio, Parliamentary Secretary, Municipal Affairs Department. A press release from Seyielhoutuo Keyho, President, NPF 5 Ghaspani-II A/C and Thejangukho Yalietsu, Press Secretary, NPF 5 Ghaspani-II A/C informing this stated that Rio “personally aided the project in building the hall”.
Speaking as the chief guest at the inaugural, Rio commended the dedication and honesty of the women group towards construction of the common weaving hall and viewed that the establishment of such a weaving unit will boost the confidence of women in income generation. "As your elected leader, there are visions for our constituency where many have been achieved or are in progress while some are yet to begin," Rio said.
He however, lamented that developmental works have become a slow process due to the uncertain political situation of the government thus far but assured that all matters will be settled in due time.
