DIMAPUR, MAY 21 (MExN): A webinar on implementation of NEP-2020: Issues and Challenges of Higher Education in Nagaland, was held on May 20. The event was organized by the Department of Teacher Education, Nagaland University Kohima Campus under the coordination of Dr Rashmi and Dr Neha Rawat.
Vice Chancellor of Nagaland University, Prof JK Patnaik graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. A short speech was also delivered by the Pro-VC, Prof GT Thong, Prof Arbind Kumar Jha from IGNOU and Prof Dipak Sinha from Nagaland University were the resource persons of the webinar.
Dr Visakhonu Hibo, Principal of Japfu Christian College, Kigwema; Dr Sentinaro from Baptist College, Kohima; Dr Temjenwabang Principal, Kohima Science College, Jotsoma; and Dr. Lanurenla, Head, English Department of Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung were the panellists of the webinar.
The HoD, Department of Teacher Education, Dr PK Pattnaik along with the faculty members participated actively. One hundred thirty diverse groups of participants attended the webinar and made it a success with their discussions, including Principals of colleges not only across Nagaland but outside of Nagaland as well.
