What more Bibi wants? Does he want total free hand on Gazans? Netanyahu, the PM of Israel has never been restrained in the last 22-months. The former president Joe Biden and the current American president Donald Trump gave Bibi the absolute freedom to do whatever he wanted and wants. At one point people across the world thought that Bibi was to an extent the American Presidents. Bibi event went to the extent of saying that those he rendered homeless which account more than a million suggested that if they desired would even ‘emigrate’. A choice is given to the Palestinians to exit from their domiciles--a voluntary removal scheme (VRS).
Bibi and Trump want to own Gaza. Trump visualizes stripping of Gaza which could become American owned eventually being transformed into a ‘freedom zone’—a Riveria—a tourists’ paradise. If this is agreed upon or workable scheme, the stripped Gazans would have to pave way for outsiders to settle. In the process, along with the rubbles, the Gazans would be cleared-off. The Gaza Strip after totally stripping would become a place for entrepreneurs to enter-in building resorts for celebrity and sun-tanners and casino-gamblers to come and enjoy. In this way the occupiers want Palestinians to be freed after stripping and making them as beggars.
Can this be treated as the Jewish Zionists and white supremacists’ response to Arabs’ questions? The game plan of Israel and American is shifting like that of end-game of this war. Bibi comes out all of a sudden that he wants totally ravage Gaza and make it as an open prison and what not. Both these Bibian and Trumpian the so-called democrats act much worse than Mussolinian and Hitlerian. Where’s the choice? The game-plan vests with Trump and Bibi. Every plan revolves around clearing or grouping them in one corner
The project of the Jewish Zionists and white supremacists’ is to relocate or terminate the Palestinians in one way or other. Confusing the Palestinians and the global citizens is another strategy of the occupiers. The colonial settlers and their ally say to Palestinians that everything is ‘for their good’ and calls their plans as ‘brilliant visions’. They’re fooling the world that what they visualize and plan are for ‘their future’ and ‘betterment’. At the same time for Palestinians freedom and two-state solutions Trump wants the Israelis, (Bibi) should get involved.
When it comes to them, they should be there to be party to the discussions or negotiations, but when it comes to the Palestinians—their present and future they need not be part of because Bibi and Trump are sole deciders in the game. The game which is being played by these two along with others in the past 22-months is a measure of the depths of horror evoked by the images and accounts from Gaza that surpasses even the colonialists of yesteryears would dare to do it. We are caught up between ‘conscience’ and ‘karma’.
The entire world is watching over the slaughtering of the babes, children, women and women of Gaza almost two-years, Israel’s close ally Germany, Israel’s second largest arms supplier warned that it could stop its supply and others such as Britain, Australia, Canada and many others that were defending Israel lifting ‘the right to defend’ slogan that has been employed all these months and extending unwavering support now say and criticize Israel for its unjustifiable actions and disproportionate killings.
Britain was responsible and has been the principal architect of Israel’s creation acknowledges that it is indeed the ‘historical injustice which is in due course of time is to unfold’ for Arabs who lived on the land before it was given away nearly 80 years ago to those seeking a Jewish homeland. France and Britain along with others have promised the recognition of the Palestinian statehood in September, 2025, @ UN Assembly. This recalibration is eventually happening after a massive devastation of Gaza and the Palestinians.
As the recalibration process is taking place, the Israel administration has decided to go all out for depopulate and moving towards total destruction of Gaza, primarily to taking over the city. Bibi is not at all bothered what the world thinks and says and others utter. He wants to protect himself and stay on in power by ducking possible prison sentence for economic frauds and others alleged crimes. Israelis, Jews, Jewish Zionists, and Christian Zionists should reckon with the fact as that Britain’s latest recounting of its rule in the creation of Israel is noteworthy.
UK foreign secretary David Lammy’s speech at the French-Saudi UN Conference was a mea culpa of sorts, an acknowledgement of the mess colonial Britain left in West Asia nearly 80-years ago. Lammy said his country would recognize Palestine statehood “with the hand of history on our shoulders”, a reference to the 67-word Balfour Declaration signed by another British foreign secretary in 1917. That transformational document promised to “view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national document promised to “view of favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people.”
Lammy said that one other promise was not kept. It stated “nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of non-Jewish communities in Palestine.” “The broken promise to Palestinians is yet to be addressed”, he indicated. This is the crux of the problem we have been witnessing in the entire history of the conflicts and wars between Israel and the Palestinians being carried over for the last eight decades. What then is left now? Many unanswered questions and things have been left that would come to the surface.
In war there are no absolute winners and losers. The warring country and the country that has been on the receiving must have lost people, livelihood, and infrastructures. So, when we talk about victory, we are forced to raise these questions: how do we measure it and what are the parameters? It takes many decades for both the countries to revive the economies as well as the damages. Those families who have lost their dear ones will have live with the memory for long. The classic examples before us are Vietnam, Afghanistan, Cuba, and few others who did resist the dominant powers and managed to survive the onslaughts. Losers have many things to take and offer. This is what history teaches.
