Wildlife Officers and staff duirng the training underway at Intanki National Park Protection Camp from February 18 to 20.

Dimapur, February 18 (MExN): Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), India in collaboration with Forest Department Nagaland is organizing hand-on three day training on wildlife crime detection, investigation and law enforcement & camera trapping at Intanki National Park Protection Camp to augment the professional needs of the officers and staff from February 18 to 20.
The training on wildlife crime detection, investigation and law enforcement will include Offences under Wildlife (Protection) Act 1972, search & seizure procedure, legal documentation, tackling of cyber crime, etc. training on camera trapping will be on various facets of the use of camera trapping methods and field exercises.
During the inaugural programme, T Aochuba, IFS Director Intanki National Park welcomed the WCS team for sponsoring the training Program. He stated that the training is organized at the much needed time and will boost the professional competency of the staff. He encouraged the participants to involve wholeheartedly in all the activities of the training to get maximum benefit out of it.
Team leader of WCS, India Training program Gargi Sharma thanked the Forest Department, Nagaland and the Director Intanki National Park for collaborating with WCS in organizing the training.
A press release issued by Aaron Yimchunger, Range Officer, Intanki Range stated that WCS, India donated 10 Camera Traps, 4 GPS devices, 10 Solar chargers, 1 Desktop and an HP Printer to Intanki National Park Protection Force for aiding in the protection and conservation activities of the department.
