Nagaland’s Higher Education & Tourism Minister Temjen Imna Along during 2nd Nagaland Potato Festival 2025 at Jakhama.
Kohima, May 11 (MExN): CYA Mitelephe with a potato produce weighing (0.588 kg) has been declared as the biggest potato during 2nd Nagaland Potato Festival 2025 held recently at Jakhama in Kohima district.
Jakhama Thenuko Krotho, Kohima bagged the Best stall award, according to event director Dr Teputo Richa. The festival, held on May 9, aim at enhancing farmers income by promoting the establishment of agriculture-based enterprises, to facilitate the development of value- added products through capacity building and technical support, to establish sustainable market linkages and improve farmers access to both domestic and international markets.
