Wokha commercial vehicles to remain off road on May 17

WOKHA, MAY 13 (MExN): Commercial vehicle services in Wokha district will remain suspended on May 17 until 6 PM in view of the 11th Foundation Day celebration of the All Commercial Vehicle Association (ACVA), Wokha District.

The ACVA informed that while services within Wokha district will be unavailable for the day, the entry of vehicles from other districts will not be affected.

This year marks the 11th anniversary of the association, which was formed in 2014. Superintendent of Police, Wokha, M. Rhovisie Nyuwi (IPS), will be the special guest at the formal programme. Asaibe Guing, Motor Vehicle Inspector, District Transport Office Wokha, will attend as special invitee. The association further cautioned that stern action will be taken against any violators of this directive.
