Wokha, October 22 (MExN): Wokha District Bharat Scouts & Guides inducted three new members into BS&G fold, namely Lanusenla Longkumer, SDO (Civil) as vice president, Lebu Krose, DDEO as district chief commissioner and Orenponi Lotha, SDEO as district secretary at DC conference hall, Wokha on October 20.
Wezope Kenye, Deputy Commissioner and President BS&G, Wokha while speaking as chief guest encouraged the members present to work and shoulder the responsibilities together with daring heart and active participation. He further challenged the young scout and guides to be active, respect their uniform and thus do better than their other friends and excel in their life.
Loreni Tsopoe, District Commissioner (G) BS&G Wokha chaired the programme, welcome address and knowledge of BS&G were presented by Thunglamo Odyuo, media secretary BS&G, and Orenpomo Ngullie, DOC(S) BS&G respectively. Vote of thanks was proposed by T. Mhonbemo Kikon, DTC (S).
A press release stated here that altogether 120 scout & guides including BS&G district officials, scout masters, guide captains of various schools and institutions attended the programme. Others who attended the program included district administration, DBs and DPRO staff.
