
WOKHA, NOVEMBER 1 (MExN): The Wokha District Entrepreneurship Task Force (ETF) has been conferred the Centre for Innovations in Public System (CIPS) Award for innovation.
ETF is an initiative of the Wokha District Administration to bring together all livelihood related departments/agencies/schemes under one umbrella in order to provide “one stop centre” solutions to support local entrepreneurs. The ETF has supported more than 4500 entrepreneurs in its short journey till now with the help of all the involved departments and agencies. The Centre for Innovations in Public Systems (CIPS) is set up by the 13th finance commission to encourage and diffuse public innovations and which is based at the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Hyderabad.
A press release issued by Wokha District ETF said this recognition belongs to all the livelihood related departments working in the district like Rural Development Deptt, DIC, Agri and allied departments, banks etc . It is to encourage all the departments and agencies to continue their good work and seamless collaborations for the benefit of rural youth and entrepreneurs of the district.
