Wokha, August 2 (MExN): The Superintendent of Police, Wokha Imtitoshi Ao and the Governing body of Regimental School (DEF Wokha) organized a felicitation programme for HSLC successful candidates at SP Office chamber on August 2.
A DIPR report stated that certificates and cash incentives were awarded to students who scored distinction in various subjects. Subject teachers (distinction) were also acknowledged with cash.
The programme was chaired by Assistant Teacher, Achumbeni Kikon, while Pastor Unit Church, PBC Zubenthung N Ngullie invoked God’s blessing.
Short speech was delivered by Chairman, Regimental School Governing Body & Addl SP Tumchobemo Yanthan, NPS and SP Wokha Imtitoshi Ao (NPS). During their speech both the officers congratulated the successful students and teachers for bringing laurel to the school and the police community in the district and urged the teachers to continue to serve the students with commitment so that the school can produce and continue to produce good results.
The programme closed with vote of thanks from Headmaster Regimental School DEF, Wokha Edward Ngullie. Altogether, 16 students appeared 2021 HSLC and came out successfully with a pass percentage of 100%.
