The Nagaland Football Association (NFA) has approved the proposal of the Wokha District Football Association (WDFA) to host the 6th Nagaland Futsal Club Championship (NFCC) 2027 in Wokha.
The approval was conveyed by the NFA on July 31, addressed to the President of the WDFA. The decision follows deliberations held during the NFA Executive Meeting on July 3, 2026, in response to the WDFA’s proposal submitted on June 20, 2026.
The NFA conveyed its approval for the WDFA to organise the sixth edition of the state-level futsal championship in 2027. The association further stated that the WDFA may coordinate with the NFA Futsal Committee for all necessary preparations and organisational matters related to the tournament.
Expressing appreciation for the initiative, the NFA commended the WDFA for its proposal and wished the district association success in its future endeavours.
The 6th Nagaland Futsal Club Championship is expected to bring together leading futsal clubs from across the state, providing a platform to promote the sport and strengthen grassroots football development in Nagaland.
