Jalukie, May 31 (MExN): Nagaland State Women Commission (NSWC) headed by its Chairman Sano Vamuzo, visited Peren district to assess the prevailing socio-economic status of women in the district. Among other issues, the commission deliberated on reservation of women in legislative bodies. Vamuzo, while reiterating the prevalence of gender-discrimination in the society expressed regret at the lukewarm response of the State Legislative Assembly on this matter.
