Wokha, April 7 (MExN): Workshop-cum-skill training for women on use of mobile applications for digital payment, e-governance services, IT applications, digital marketing, and cyber security was organized at DC’s Conference Hall, Wokha on April 6.
It was organised by District Skill Committee (DSC) Wokha, Wokha District Administration and DLCW-MSK under BBBP in collaboration with National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Kohima, stated a DIPR report.
The workshop was conducted in three different sessions. In first and third session which was taken by A Morimenba Amer, Joint Director, National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Kohima. He highlighted the important tips for cyber security. During the second session, Technical Officer, NIELIT, Kohima, Moasunep Kichu, dwelled on digital marketing and highlighted about how to do social media marketing on Facebook and Instagram platform.
Welcome remarks was given by Selemla S Sangtam, SDO (C), Wokha and the workshop was chaired by Dr Wonchano E Enny, Women Welfare Officer, DLCW-MSK, Wokha while the vote of thanks was delivered Anuranjan Singh, Skill Development officer, Mahatma Gandhi National Fellow, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India.
Deputy Commissioner (DC), Wokha, Orenthung Lotha thanked the team of NIELIT, Kohima for conducting the skill training for women in the district.
