Kohima, July 10 (MExN): Amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the education scenario is faced with a huge challenge, to move beyond the traditional classroom and venture into alternative approaches of teaching and learning. 


Capital College of Higher Education, Kohima today conducted a one-day workshop under the theme “Innovate and enhance learning through Google Classroom and Online tools” to explore alternative pedagogies such as flipped classroom and blended learning.


Dr. Ruth Hauzel, Assistant Professor, GITAM Hyderabad, acted as the keynote speaker of the workshop.


She discussed the need and relevance of blended learning and introduced Google Classroom as a viable platform to enhance learning.


The mode of delivery was live web session.


The hands-on session of the workshop was an intensive practice session on creating and using Google Classroom to facilitate learning which was taken up by Sungjemmongla Jamir, Assistant Professor, department of political science, Capital College of Higher Education, Kohima.
